When it comes to organizing your space, you want your storage options to reflect who you are and your style. Though there are a lot of storage options out there, it can be nice to make a little DIY project out of items you already have in your home.

One easy option for upgrading your storage is using shoeboxes, packaging boxes, electronics boxes, etc. from items you have already purchased and kept boxes from. In this post I will highlight two earbud boxes, a MacBook Pro box, and a plain brown box. All I did to upgrade them was measure their length and width to cut out pretty paper to insert into the box. The paper pad I used were the Tattered and Worn by Recollections (similar pad here) and the paper trimmer I used is this one from Fiskars.
I would simply cut the paper to match the measurements for each individual box and usually if I was just putting paper at the bottom of the box, I would just drop it in and smooth it out. If I added any paper to the sides, I would either use matching/complimentary washi tape or an adhesive dots applicator to stick them to the sides.
With these little touches to a box, your space looks more polished and adds a fun dose of your own personal taste! When you look into your upgraded boxes, they are more enjoyable to use because they are tailored to you. Use these boxes to store everyday items that you use, craft or desk supplies, or special and sentimental items. What will you use yours for?
